About Us
We think that memories can be best remembered while looking at the photograph years later of the child's first home run or that smile while becoming part of the team.
Crooked Bear Photography was founded to provide quality sports photography to parents and teams. We wanted to stay active in our community while enjoying what we do. We are not a large corporation and started doing this for family and friends, especially our grandchildren. We got more and more requests so decide to try doing more and attending more youth sports.
John picked up his first camera as a teenager and has continued to enjoy photography doing many styles. Before Walmart and digital cameras John even tried his skills at developing. We now have a large storage area for slides that will always be a part of our household.
I decided to learn along side my husband and then went to school for a better all around understanding and skill in photography. I love to photograph landscape and old barns, but I also enjoy seeing that child on the field jumping in front of the lens and feeling very important when you take their photo.
We are members of the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts.
We both know how important it is to stay active in our community and volunteer quite frequently at different community functions.
